Police confirm Kade JnBaptiste murder suspect is in custody
MARIGOT, St Lucia (April 6, 2025) — Police have arrested a male suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Kade “Kape” JnBaptiste in Coolie Town, Marigot. The suspect remains in custody as investigators work to determine a motive and whether charges will be laid.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) confirmed that officers from the Marigot Police Station responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2. Emergency personnel discovered JnBaptiste unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Despite efforts from the Saint Lucia Fire Service, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A medical professional later confirmed the death.
