Police confirm Kimmany Francois as victim in Active Hill La Clery shooting
CASTRIES, St Lucia — A 21-year-old man from Desruisseaux has been identified as the victim in the Active Hill La Clery shooting that claimed his life late Wednesday night.
According to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, officers from the Criminal Investigations Department were dispatched at about 11:33 p.m. on September 10, 2025, following reports of a motionless body in the area. When law enforcement arrived, they discovered the victim, later identified as Kimmany Francois, with multiple gunshot wounds. A medical practitioner pronounced him dead at the scene.
The RSLPF has since launched a homicide investigation into the circumstances surrounding Francois’s death. Authorities are appealing to the public to assist in advancing the case.
