Seas around St Lucia will remain slight to moderate through the day. Tides for Castries Harbour will be low at 9:53 a.m. before rising high at 4:14 p.m. In Vieux Fort Bay, tides will fall low at 11:20 a.m. and peak high at 5:21 p.m.

Across the Lesser Antilles, skies are forecast to be partly cloudy, turning cloudy at times with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Meteorologists expect heightened instability, especially over the northern half of the region.

A tropical wave currently affecting the eastern Caribbean will bring periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms over the next 24 hours. According to the Saint Lucia Meteorological Services, there is a high chance of this system strengthening into a tropical depression this weekend as it moves north of the northern Leeward Islands.
A second tropical wave is advancing across the central tropical Atlantic at about 20 mph (33 km/h). Although it carries a low chance of development, it is expected to reach the Lesser Antilles by Monday. A third wave further east is moving more slowly at 12 mph (19 km/h) with limited prospects for development at this stage.
