CASTRIES, St Lucia — Police have identified the two men killed in Sunday’s Bexon double homicide, adding new confirmed details to a case that has shaken the community and renewed concern over gun violence in Castries.
The shooting occurred about 2:50 p.m. in Bexon, where two male victims sustained gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified him as 22-year-old Mickel Johan Bernard of San-De-Fue, Sarrot, Castries. The second victim, James Toussaint, 23, of Bexon, was transported to the Owen King European Hospital, where he later died.
