CASTRIES, St Lucia — A fatal Bois Patat shooting left 1 man dead and a woman injured Saturday evening after gunfire erupted while the two were inside a vehicle, according to preliminary reports.
Police said the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. when a man and his girlfriend were inside a vehicle and came under attack. Both occupants were struck by gunfire.
The male victim died at the scene. The female victim sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
