DENNERY, St Lucia — A Dennery motorcycle accident victim, a 41-year-old resident identified as Arniel Emmanuel, died after his condition worsened during a transfer between medical facilities, according to the Saint Lucia Fire Service.
Fire Service officials said emergency crews assessed Emmanuel at the scene before transporting him to Dennery Hospital, where an incident report indicated that no physicians were present on Thursday morning.
Emmanuel’s death comes as authorities continue to respond to serious road crashes across the island, including a recent serious accident in Soufriere.
