Police investigate grim discovery in Grande Riviere involving two dead men
GRANDE RIVIERE, St Lucia (April 13, 2025) — A grim discovery in Grande Riviere on Sunday afternoon has prompted a police investigation after two men were found dead inside a vehicle in the Inglewood area.
Authorities received a call for assistance shortly after 3 p.m. and responded promptly to the scene. Upon arrival, officers discovered one individual seated in the driver’s seat and the other in the front passenger’s seat of a parked vehicle. The victims have not yet been identified, and crime scene investigators are continuing to process the scene and collect evidence.
A female resident recalled hearing four gunshots in the area. “I was in my living room and had just opened the door when I heard the shots, so I just closed my door,” she said. Another nearby resident added, “I thought it was children that were playing there.”
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is treating the case as a matter requiring further inquiry and is appealing to the public for any information that may assist with the ongoing investigation.
