Public Urged to Help Probe Easter Sunday Shooting That Killed Tommy Joseph
CASTRIES, St Lucia (April 20, 2025) — Police have officially identified Tommy Joseph, also known as “Tomchu,” as the man killed in a shooting in Fond Assau, Babonneau, in the early hours of Easter Sunday. The 26-year-old resident has been confirmed as the Fond Assau homicide victim, according to a statement from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF).
Officers from the Babonneau Police Station responded to reports of gunfire around 1:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Joseph and another man with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to medical facilities for emergency treatment. Joseph was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. The second individual remains hospitalized under medical care.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or any potential suspects. Investigations are ongoing.
