GROS ISLET, St Lucia — Ti Morne search warrants executed on February 5, 2026, led to the recovery of about US$13,000 in cash and a quantity of cannabis resin at premises linked to two individuals, police said. Thirty-five-year-old Lance Alfred, also known as “Bolo,” and 36-year-old Tresha Richard were arrested and charged in connection with the find.

Police said both Alfred and Richard were charged with possession of cannabis resin and possession of cannabis resin with intent to supply. They appeared before a magistrate on Friday, February 6, 2026, and were each granted $1,500 cash bail.
In light of the cash recovery and the circumstances surrounding it, officers initiated the cash seizure process under Section 29(a) of Saint Lucia’s Crime Act, citing suspicion that the money represents proceeds of criminal conduct. Police said the Financial Intelligence Authority was notified and has assumed an active role, pursuing the seizure and conducting further financial investigations.
Police activity in Gros Islet comes as authorities continue pursuing drug-related cases across the island, including a recent port drug bust case.
