Bahamian songstress Simmone Bowe will headline the 2024 CMEx Leadership Awards in Miami, delivering a soulful performance celebrating Caribbean excellence.

MIAMI (Nov. 22, 2024) – Renowned Bahamian singer Simmone Bowe, celebrated for her soulful and versatile artistry, will headline the 2024 CMEx Leadership Awards and Fundraiser next month. The highly anticipated event, celebrating Caribbean excellence, will take place on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel in Miami, Florida, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Simmone Bowe’s performance is set to be a highlight of the awards, promising an unforgettable musical experience for attendees. Known for her warm, powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, Bowe has built a career spanning decades, blending genres such as jazz, reggae, R&B, and gospel.

Bowe’s musical journey began with school and church productions, community choirs, and performances for distinguished audiences, including leaders in the Bahamian government. Her talent and passion have taken her from local stages to international performances in the United States and Nigeria.

The CMEx Leadership Awards will celebrate a distinguished roster of Caribbean leaders and innovators in tourism, media, and public service. Among the 2024 Laureates are:

  • Kashmie Ali – Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Sailrock South Caicos
  • Latia Duncombe – Director General, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism
  • Thea LaFond – 2024 Olympic Champion, Dominica
  • Dr. Lisa Indar – Interim Executive Director, Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA)

Renowned for her warm, powerful voice and captivating stage presence, Bowe will deliver an unforgettable musical experience at the event, which will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel, starting at 11:30 a.m.
