CASTRIES, St Lucia — A Massade shooting murder charge has been filed against a 34-year-old man in connection with the death of Julien Cedrick Agian, according to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. The fatal shooting occurred on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Massade, Gros Islet.
Police said officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Gros Islet Police Divisional Headquarters apprehended 34-year-old Joshua Paul on Monday, May 18, 2026. Authorities reported that a pistol with a magazine containing two rounds of 9mm ammunition was allegedly found on his person at the time of his arrest.
Investigators formally charged Paul on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with Murder, Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Ammunition. He has since been remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
