Remembering Norbert Alvin Williams, fondly known as the Bow Tie Man, whose great legacy continues to inspire hearts two years later.

On this solemn Monday, December 4, Saint Lucia collectively pauses in remembering Norbert Alvin Williams, affectionately known as “Norbie” or the “Bow Tie Man.” Two years after his passing on December 4, 2022, Norbert’s legacy remains deeply etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.

Born on June 6, 1964, Norbert Alvin Williams brought light and warmth to the world through his vibrant personality, timeless style, and boundless kindness. Whether donning his signature bow tie or sharing a heartfelt laugh, he became a symbol of joy, grace, and unwavering friendship in the community.

Norbert’s charm extended beyond his sartorial elegance; it was evident in the way he connected with people, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and an ability to inspire joy even in the simplest moments. His life was a celebration of the ties that bind—both in the fabric of his wardrobe and in the friendships he nurtured throughout his journey.
