Police investigate Fatal Accident in Choiseul involving buggy and SUV
CHOISEUL, St Lucia – June 1, 2025 – A fatal accident in Choiseul has claimed the life of one man following an early morning collision at La Fargue on Sunday. The incident, which occurred around midnight, involved a buggy and an SUV colliding at a junction along the roadway.
According to initial reports, the force of the impact ejected the buggy’s driver from the vehicle, resulting in severe injuries. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene and transported the victim to a nearby medical facility. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Following the accident, several videos circulated on social media platforms, showing graphic footage of the wreckage and the emergency response operations. The incident has sparked renewed public concern over the growing number of serious traffic accidents on St Lucia’s roadways.
