ANSE LA RAYE, St Lucia — A joint police operation in Anse La Raye on Tuesday, May 12, resulted in the arrest of a wanted man, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has confirmed. Officers from the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit and the Central Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the community and apprehended Shaquan Hippolyte, also known as “Boyo.”
Hippolyte was wanted on two warrants of arrest dated July 27, 2025, for the alleged offences of Using a Firearm with Intent and Aiding and Abetting Robbery, said to have been committed in Soufriere, a district where a separate firearms case came before the courts earlier this week. He remains in lawful custody pending further investigations and formal charges, police confirmed.
