Tropical wave brings cloudy intervals in St Lucia Weather August 29 2025
CASTRIES, St Lucia — St Lucia Weather August 29 2025 remained warm and partly cloudy on Thursday, with meteorologists forecasting fair skies that may give way to scattered showers as a weak tropical wave approaches the southern Caribbean.

The midday temperature at Hewanorra reached 31°C (88°F), following an overnight low of 27°C (81°F). Relative humidity stood at 74 percent, with easterly winds blowing at 18 mph (30 km/h).

Lesser Antilles and tropical outlook
Across the Lesser Antilles, weather will vary between fair and hazy skies with cloudy intervals and scattered showers. However, the far southern Windward Islands can expect more unstable conditions, with thunderstorms possible as a weak tropical wave advances through the region.
Meteorologists also noted another tropical wave over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, slowly moving westward at about 6 mph (9 km/h). Some development is possible over the coming days, which forecasters will continue to monitor.
The Saint Lucia Meteorological Services said the atmosphere across much of the Eastern Caribbean remains moist and unstable enough to generate occasional cloudy periods and showers during the forecast cycle.
