CASTRIES, St Lucia — A Desruisseaux fatal stabbing has left a 32-year-old Micoud resident dead, prompting the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force to launch a homicide investigation into the violent incident that unfolded Sunday morning in the community of Dormel.
Police confirmed that officers attached to the Micoud Police Station responded to reports of a stabbing around 7:20 a.m. on March 15, 2026.
According to initial police accounts, the victim was discovered with multiple stab wounds to his body. Emergency responders transported the injured man to St. Jude Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Medical personnel later pronounced him dead.
Authorities have identified the victim as Daniel Norville, 32, of Anse Ger, Micoud.
The killing adds to ongoing public concern over violent crime in St Lucia, coming just days after another deadly knife attack in Castries. In a separate case, a Morne Du Don stabbing left one man dead in the capital, highlighting the continued pressure on investigators as homicide cases mount.
