MIRAMAR, Fla. — Julien Alfred sets national record in a commanding 300-meter victory at the 2025 Miramar Invitational, clocking 36.05 seconds and solidifying her reputation as one of the Caribbean’s most formidable sprint talents.
The 22-year-old Saint Lucian sprint star surged past a world-class field that included Olympic medalist Shericka Jackson of Jamaica, who finished second in 36.13 seconds. Jessika Gbai of Ivory Coast placed third at 36.24 seconds, rounding off a fiercely contested women’s final at the Ansin Sports Complex in Florida.
