Castries, Saint Lucia – Emergency responders from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed a man to the OKEU Hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh during a shocking Belair Goods Vehicle Robbery in Castries. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, involved a goods vehicle that was reportedly targeted by armed robbers.
According to initial reports, the victim was a passenger in the goods vehicle when the Belair Goods Vehicle Robbery took place. At approximately 4:15 p.m., the SLFS was alerted to the situation and responded promptly to the scene. Responders treated the injured man before transporting him to the OKEU Hospital for further medical care. The victim was reportedly in stable condition at the time of transport.
