Police News Update: Choiseul Fatal Accident Victim Identified
CHOISEUL, St Lucia – June 3, 2025 – Choiseul Fatal Accident Victim Identified as 24-year-old Daniel Auguste, following the deadly collision that occurred at La Fargue, Choiseul on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force officially confirmed the victim’s identity as part of their ongoing investigation into the fatal crash involving a buggy and an SUV.
The tragic accident, originally reported by Unitedpac St Lucia News, occurred around 10:06 p.m. when officers from the Choiseul Police Station responded to reports of the collision. Preliminary investigations revealed that two motor vehicles, a buggy and an SUV, were involved. Two individuals were transported to St. Jude Hospital for medical treatment.
Despite emergency efforts, Auguste later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. The condition of the second victim remains undisclosed. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
In the aftermath of the accident, Parliamentary Representative for Choiseul, Hon. Bradley Felix, extended his condolences to the grieving family in a statement posted to his official Facebook page.
