- George V Park Homicide: On Tuesday, December 12, 2024, police discovered a lifeless body at George V Parkin Castries. The victim, identified only as “Mark,” sustained a fatal laceration to the face. Authorities believe “Mark,” a transient individual, may have been targeted in a personal dispute, though investigations are ongoing.
These incidents bring the nation’s 2024 homicide toll to a record-breaking 78, further highlighting the complexity and scale of Saint Lucia’s violent crime problem.
